Make-Under! Melissa McCarthy SPOTTED Looking Unrecognizable While Filming In New York City

Blink and you might miss her! Melissa McCarthy was working hard filming in NYC yesterday, but if you weren’t looking closely, it was easy to walk right past the famous movie star!

The actress is in town filming her latest project, Can You Ever Forgive Me?, and she appears to have gotten a make-under for the role!

Melissa's long brunette locks were tucked away beneath a shorthaired wig, and her make-up was kept to a minimum.

The Ghostbusters star will play Lee Israel in the film, a real-life celebrity biography who pleaded guilty to forgery in the early 1990s. The film is based on Lee’s memoir of the same title.

Despite the film’s pre-cell phone time period, Melissa still managed to sneak her smart phone on set. Can’t blame her!
