Blanket Jackson has stayed out of the spotlight since his father Michael died, but over the weekend he made a rare public appearance to celebrate his older brother Prince’s college graduation. The oldest child of the “Thriller” singer graduated Cum Laude from Loyola Marymount University. Scroll for more details.
Prince, 22, shared a gallery of photos from his graduation on May 11, including one where he was all smiles with his younger brother Blanket, 17.
He captioned the photos on Instagram, “Yesterday I graduated from @loyolamarymount Cum Laude in the school of business with a focus on entrepreneurship. I met so many people and learned so much that the experience alone is worth it. I wish I could thank everyone that helped me make it to the end but I can’t and unfortunately, they’re not all pictured here.”
Prince gave a special shout out to his uncle Tito’s sons and said, “But the biggest thanks goes to TJ and his brothers Taryll and Taj who kept pushing me to graduate and finish up my degree when I wanted to quit. Honestly, I can’t tell you if all of it was worth it yet, but I am proud of my degree as I believe it is a testament to my dedication and discipline.”
