The Scandal star revealed to Jenny McCarthy, “There was tension, bless their hearts.” She added, “Backstage, there was some tension because it could have gone any way.”
Bellamy, 44, continued, “Once it got underway, it was beautiful. Kelly Ripa gave a monologue and she got to clear the air.”

Ripa returned to her hosting gig after a 4-day hiatus and reportedly being hurt and “blindsided” by the announcement that Michael Strahan was ditching the talk show to head to Good Morning America full time.
The rumors of bitterness between the hosts intensified when the former NFL star delivered the news his last day on Live! will May 13, four months earlier than he previously announced.
