“It’s hard to believe Jubilee would have been 6 years old today. Jubilee is our 20th child who was stillborn,” the family captioned a photo of their daughter’s headstone.
“We so look forward to seeing Jubilee in heaven,” the parents continued. “In the Bible, King David’s baby died and he stated, ‘I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.’ This is our hope of eternal life, if each one of us repents of our sins and put our faith and trust in Jesus.”
Following the family’s post, fans and fellow parents showered the grieving parents with words of encouragement.
“I will never forget how you quoted scripture at the moment you learned she had gone to be with the Lord It was the most powerful testimony of faith I have ever witnessed. God bless you!,” one fan wrote, referencing the family’s decision to discuss their loss on 19 & Counting at the time.
A second fan commented: “I was pregnant with you when this happened to you. I was so moved by how you handled the situation. Little did I know several weeks later my baby girl would be stillborn. My mind instantly went to you and your words and how you trusted that God was in control. You have no idea how that helped me. I love your family. All of you.”
“I’m so sorry, Michelle,” wrote a third fan. “None of us will ever forget Jubilee, either. I’m so glad you shared her life with us.”
