Michelle Obama, who is currently on a national book tour for her autobiographical memoir, Becoming, made a stop at the famed Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on Wednesday. Michelle always dressed to impress while serving as First Lady, but now she has really taken to expressing herself with her private citizen wardrobe! The 54-year-old wore a yellow saffron silk shirt dress from Balenciaga's Spring 2019 collection and had her hair perfectly styled in loose waves.
She added a little bit of sass to her outfit with a pair of Balenciaga thigh-high holographic glitter boots that cost a whopping $3,900!
Michelle kept her makeup fairly natural while adding a bold red lip and accessorizing with gold hoop earrings and a few rings.

Sarah, who was at the event to help Michelle facilitate her book tour stop in New York, didn't disappoint when it came to her ensemble either — although she rarely does!
The Sex and the City star looked amazing in a fitted, purple sequin dress that fell right below her knees. She paired her outfit with purple tinted, holographic stilettos and wore her locks in her signature tousled hairstyle.
