Mike Myers to Host MTV Movie Awards

Who’s MTV’s hostest with the mostest? This year it’s Mike Myers. The Canadian comedian has been selected by the music network to host the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.

Myers, who hasn’t appeared live in any film since 2003’s disastrous View From the Top (though he’s voiced characters in the animated Shrek series), stars in the upcoming film The Love Guru.

This is Myers’ second time hosting the show. This year’s Movie Awards will air live on June 1.
