What’s one way to distract people from the rumors of a new boyfriend? Give your pet pig a pedicure, that’s what. Miley Cyrus, who according to new reports is dating Patrick Schwarzenegger, is under fire for painting her pet pig's nails.

Miley was getting a little pampering done of her own, and decided she might as well let her piggy, Bubba Sue, join in on the fun!

But animal lovers aren’t too happy with Miley’s behavior. Some people on Twitter are saying that they feel “badly” for the pig, while others have expressed concern, hoping that the polish she chose is safe for animals.

Bubba Sue does kinda seem to be enjoying himself—who wouldn’t want a little stroke like that?—and since Miley is outwardly a huge animal lover, we doubt she’d do anything to hurt the little guy. Calm down, people.

Miley bought her pig back in August, around the same time she got herself another dog whom she named Emu. Both pets were purchased after Miley's dog Floyd died earlier this year. Looks like the piggy made a good replacement...
