Miley Cyrus was serving major looks during New York Fashion Week. On February 12, the “Wrecking Ball” singer made a surprise appearance on Marc Jacobs’ runway at his fall/winter 2020 runway show.
Miley, 27, closed out the fashion event wearing a black bra top and wide-legged trousers. The edgy outfit was completed with elbow-length leather gloves and a zebra print jacket, along with a silver bedazzled necklace.
The Disney Channel alum took to Instagram and shared a clip of her runway appearance. “Included @marcjacobs,” she captioned the video. Famous friends loved her catwalk cameo. Hailey Baldwin wrote, “YUP. STOMP QUEEN. ?.” Naomi Campbell commented with three fire emojis. Miley’s brother Trace Cyrus chimed in, “Yassss ????.”
The “Slide Away” singer has previously collaborated with the fashion designer before. Miley appeared in the Marc Jacobs 2014 spring/summer campaign. She also teamed up with the label in 2019 to design a sweatshirt that benefitted Planned Parenthood. The hoodie featured a topless photo of Miley and read “don’t f**k with my freedom” in black and white block lettering.

In October 2018, Miley spoke with HungerTV about being mentored by Marc, 56. “He kind of brought me into fashion when I was 16, that was when I started being around him and just learning from him,” she explained. “He let me inspire some of his pieces and now I feel like it’s just about having the right people around you.”
Last month, Miley also debuted her new edgy hairstyle. She kept her bangs and cut her hair into a choppy mullet, and teased fans that new music was on the way on Instagram. Her hair stylist Sally Hershberger told Page Six that the shorter and edgier look will be trendsetting. “Miley’s mullet was inevitable — we both felt it,” she told the publication. “It’s fashion, it’s cutting edge and Miley has made it her own. She’s never going to do what everyone else does; she’s going to set trends.”
“I always look forward to working with Miley; she’s such a free spirit and a true artist. As an artist myself, she understands my creative process and that hair too is a work of art,” the legendary hairstylist continued. “When I work, I like to take risks and Miley supports the vision. She’s very fashion forward and 100 percent authentic.”
