Ouch! Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown revealed that she has to skip the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Monday due to her kneecap splitting.
She revealed the painful news to her nearly 17 million followers on Instagram Friday.
"I've never actually broken a bone except for now. I have split my kneecap, so from the doctor's orders, he told me to rest up and that means that I won't be attending the MTV Awards this weekend," she explained while showing off her leg brace and crutches.
Perhaps one of her Stranger Things costars will take to the stage in case she wins the award for Best Performance in a Show.

"I hope Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, and Noah Schnapp have the best time and I love them so dearly, so I wish you guys the best and I'm sending my luck with you, and I'll be there in spirit," she added.
She has some stiff competition that night, as Millie will go up against Issa Rae (Insecure), Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why), Darren Criss (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story) and Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones).
