Fredrik Eklund is a dad to twins! The Million Dollar Listing New York star shared the news via Instagram on Tuesday night, where he shared a sweet photo of him and his husband Derek Kaplan sharing a sweet kiss while holding their newborns. The couple welcomed a son and a daughter via a surrogate after years of struggling to have children. Click through to see the first photo of Fredrik’s twins!
Fredrik looked over the moon in this pic with his husband and their newborns. “Happiest moment of my life. Welcome Fredrick and Mill to the world,” Fredrik captioned the photo.
On Thanksgiving, Fredrick posted this sweet photo of him and Derek wearing matching onesies. He gushed about how excited he was about the twins’ imminent arrival.
“It’s hard to explain but Derek and I’ve both been so giggly all the time lately,” Fredrik wrote. “It’s like entering another dimension this thing, if you’ve had kids perhaps you can relate? I think my heart is going to explode when I finally hold them.”

Fredrik has been open about his and Derek’s struggle to have children via a surrogate on MDLNY. In an episode over the summer, Fredrik finally decided to try for kids again, with a different surrogate and doctor, after previous attempts failed.
Since finding out their surrogate was pregnant, the pair have been busy prepping for their twins’ arrival!
