Poor Miranda Lambert! The singer thought she’d found forever love with her new boyfriend Anderson East, especially after her devastating divorce from Blake Shelton two years ago. But when the country star told her blues singer beau she wanted to settle down, she was hit with a response she wasn’t expecting. “He told her he wants to take a break,” a source told In Touch magazine. Now, Miranda is devastated and heartbroken, but according to the insider, this might not be the official end of her and Anderson!
“She really felt they were meant to be together. And they still may be — Anderson is only cooling things off,” the source told In Touch exclusively. “But that doesn’t take away the sting for Miranda.”
According to the insider, Miranda thought she and Anderson were on the same page regarding their future. “She really loves Anderson and thought they were doing so well…She believed she and Anderson connected on so many levels,” said the insider.
While they may have connected, Anderson isn’t ready to commit to forever. “He knew it was going to hurt her but he also knows they’re both just not ready for this,” the source claimed.

Still, the source says Miranda shouldn’t give up hope just yet! “He’s not counting out them getting back together or even marrying someday. He just couldn’t see them marrying now,” said the insider.
In the meantime, the source says Miranda is throwing herself into her work, adding, “Miranda still feels like she’s been dumped by someone she loves so much.”
