Miranda Lambert is back in action! She spoke about returning to work after marrying husband Brendan McLoughlin earlier this year and joked about the weird stuff she did while on her hiatus.
The 35-year-old dished to Chicago radio station US 99.5 FM on Monday, July 1, about married life.
“They’re not going to let me have eight months off ever again because I get married and do weird s**t,” the country star quipped.
She added, “I had the longest break I’ve ever had in 17 years — this year, the last year — so I’m a little nervous to be back.”
The NYPD police officer and the "Vice" singer married in a top-secret ceremony in January 2019. But they did not make the news public until February.
The couple met in November 2018 when the Grammy winner appeared on Good Morning America and Brendan was working in Times Square.
Miranda and Brendan made their debut as a couple on the 2019 ACM red carpet.
