Ariel Winter wants to expand her career horizon. On Monday, July 15, the Modern Family actress was photographed as she ran errands while makeup-free in Los Angeles. Her outing came days after she expressed her desire to transition to more “adult” acting roles.
Ariel, 21, kept things low-key and casual. She paired a black cropped tank with black leggings.
She kept her dyed locks long and straight and added a pair of Converse to round out her off-duty look
Modern Family is slated to end in 2020 and in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Ariel, who has been on the series since its 2009 premiere, admitted that she’s ready for the next big step.

“It's strange to think that it's coming to an end. It will be hard to say goodbye," she said. "It will be hard to leave that, but I am excited to do new things. I'm excited to play new roles and to do things that challenge me a little more."
"Alex is a great character, but Alex doesn't change a ton," she explained.
"I was a kid as Alex on the show and now I'm an adult as Alex, so it's a little different than the roles I want to play. I don't want to play kid to adult,” she added. “I want to just play my age now."
