Games of Thrones' Natalie Dormer is officially a single lady! According to a new interview, she and fiancé Anthony Byrne called it quits earlier this summer. Read on for all the details.
The New Statesman magazine revealed, “They’ve parted ways since promoting the film In Darkness this summer.”
Though the 36-year-old hasn’t given a reason for the breakup, earlier this year she got candid about how difficult it was to work with her romantic partner.
At the time she confessed to You magazine, “Couples say terrible things to each other that you would never say to your best friend. We learned very quickly that we couldn't write in the same room.” Anthony directed the film while Natalie starred in it — the pair were also co-writers and producers.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Anthony also admitted that the film put an incredible amount of stress on their relationship. “Well, we learned quickly, but we didn’t learn from our mistakes. Because we didn’t have an office or anything, we were in our own home writing, and then it would all kick off because we would disagree about something fundamentally or I would be a pain in the a– and I would challenge Nat, or myself. It’s very easy to go, ‘Oh, don’t worry about that, it’s going to be fine,’ and you have to police that and in doing so you end up being the bad guy and end up having massive arguments," he said.
The two met back in 2007 on the set of The Tudors. They got engaged 4 years later, after Byrne proposed to her while they were on vacation in India.
