Hiding Something? Natalie Portman Tries To Cover Suspicious Bump With Her Purse

Natalie Portman is making her directorial debut but she may have something bigger to celebrate, like the possibility she’s expanding her family!

The actress was seen in Hollywood getting pizza with her husband Benjamin Millepied and son Aleph on July 25 sporting a suspicious bump.

Sources said she was “constantly trying to cover her stomach with her purse” as she walked with her boys.

The 35-year-old is making her debut as a director in the film A Tale of Love and Darkness and recently discussed with The New York Times how directing is similar to being a mother.

“I think being a mother made me realize how maternal the role of director is,” she said. “That’s sort of what directing is — talking to people in a way that can best unlock their potential. Of course, with directing, the purpose is to help them realize your vision. With parenting, the purpose is for your kid to realize his. But it’s a similar skill."

Portman and her director husband, whom she met on the set of Black Swan, welcomed their son in June 2011 and wed in August 2012.
