NeNe Leakes is facing some new questions about the status of her spot on The Real Housewives of Atlanta after she failed to attend a secret get-together hosted by several of the cast members from the show’s recent eighth season!
Over the weekend, the full cast of RHOA’s Season 8 — minus Shamea Morton and Kim Fields — were spotted at a pop-up shop hosted by Phaedra Parks in Atlanta, Georgia. Tons of fans showed up to the event to see Parks, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams and Shereé Whitfield. And even Bailey’s sister, Mallory Bailey-Massie, was in attendance at the get-together.
The event was the first time in several months so many members from RHOA’s Season 8 were together in one place. And seeing that camera crews could be seen filming in videos posted on social media from the event, the ladies’ function is now sparking new talk about the coming Season 9 cast reveal!
The girls were all smiles at the pop-up shop, laughing and joking with each other as they socialized with their fans and friends.

All the RHOA ladies in attendance at the pop-up shop have been named as possible Season 9 cast members. However, RHOA vet Leakes was glaringly absent from the event and the flyer publicizing the pop-up store, adding to talk that she may not appear on the show’s new season.
Leakes has hinted over the past few months that she may return to RHOA. But she also recently admitted that she has yet to film any scenes for Season 9.
Leakes has appeared to be on good terms with most of the RHOA ladies following their explosive Season 8 reunion show taping in the spring. But with her busy touring schedule for her comedy show and her reported new money issues, some are convinced Leakes may be considering leaving RHOA for good!
