NeNe Leakes is staying optimistic as her husband Gregg battles cancer. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram on Sunday to share multiple smiling pics with her husband and assured him he’ll be “just fine.”
“This Father’s Day will probably be one of the most memorable ones we’ve ever had together! We are usually doing something all fancy but today we chose to just enjoy each other, have some company over and take tons of pics right here in the kitchen, no really,” NeNe captioned this photo of them in their kitchen. “I love you more today than ever Gregg. Happy Father’s Day hunni.”
She also posted this pic of Gregg giving her a kiss on the cheek. “Your gonna be just fine hunni! Happy Father’s Day,” NeNe wrote.
“Gregg says heyyy y’all,” NeNe wrote alongside this pic of her waving at the camera with Gregg by her side. “He’s slowly becoming a social media person. He wants to take pics these dayz. I gotta teach him how to pose chile #happyfathersday2018.”

Last week, NeNe announced via Instagram that Gregg has cancer. She posted a photo of him sitting in a chair with a computer behind him. On the screen was the word “cancer” with a red line through it. She wrote, “Our New Normal and the fight begins,” adding the hashtags, “#f**kcancer #mdandersoncancercenter #yougotthis #iloveyou.”
She later posted an update and revealed that Gregg had the cancer removed but now faced the choice of whether or not he wanted to go through chemo. In the lengthy post, NeNe thanked fans and her costars — even her enemy Kim Zolciak — for their support.
