It appears that Wendy Williams may have snatched one of her nemesis NeNe Leakes’ checks as the reality TV star attempts to make a name for herself without the help of The Real Housewives of Atlanta! According to a report form LoveBScott.com, Leakes had been developing a talk show with Debmar-Mercury, the same production company that works on Williams’ The Wendy Williams Show.

The show was supposed to air after Williams’ show, and the report claims that the company discussed the plans with Williams before giving Leakes’ show the green light.

The report claims that the show got the go-ahead, but the entire plan went sour after Leakes blasted Williams for comments the TV host made about her on The Wendy Williams Show. The messy incident in question involved Williams dissing Leakes for painting a Hermès Birkin bag and Leakes in turn taking to her blog to call out Williams for what she said.

Leakes shocked RHOA fans back in June when she announced she’d be leaving the hit reality show. It was expected that she’d be searching for several entertainment-related opportunities, and her fans named a talk show as a project the star should definitely consider.
