Netflix Considers ‘House Of Cards’ Spinoffs Without Kevin Spacey

Just when fans of the hit Netflix show House of Cards thought all hope was lost after yesterday’s announcement that it will be cancelled after its next season following the sexual allegations against star Kevin Spacey, today brings the news that the streaming network is considering spinoffs.
The fallout from the actor’s alleged sexual misconduct toward Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp continued to unravel with the announcement yesterday that the International Emmy Awards rescinded the honor they planned for the Oscar winner.
But just one day after canceling the show after its next season, Netflix said that they are considering reviving it with spinoffs minus Kevin.
However, they’ve remained mum about which character would have their potential show.

Could Robin Wright’s Claire Underwood, whose character has taken over the reigns from Kevin’s Frank Underwood as president, get her own show?
Or could we see Frank’s flawed but loyal confidante Doug Stamper (played by Michael Kelly) get his own series?
Whichever way the network decides, it will interesting to see what the viewer reception will be once it does return as a new show with a new star and following the sexual allegations against Kevin.
