Nick Cannon Is Definitely Not Happy About Mariah Carey's Engagement — Find Out Why!

Nick Cannon may have posted a funny congratulatory Instagram post regarding Mariah Carey’s engagement over the weekend, but he’s not really as happy as fans may think!

Nick likely found out the way everyone else did, as Mariah flaunted her huge 35-carat ring while walking back to her car with billionaire James Packer. He proposed to her in New York City amongst close friends. And the comedian wasn’t too pleased about it, especially since he presumed it was a rebound relationship.

The insider noted, “Nick really did think that the only reason that she was with James in the first place was to make him jealous. But now he knows that he is permanently out of the love equation with Mariah.”

And when he realized that, he posted a hilarious Instagram post, featuring a scene of himself and fellow comedian Kevin Hart in Real Husbands of Hollywood. He’s seen lying in a hospital bed as Kevin looks over, saying, “It’s just a ring Nick….”

The 35-year-old apparently felt badly about his actions though, as a source said, “He sent Mariah flowers apologizing for his actions. He told her that he really does just want her to be happy.”
