Now this is eerie. Hours after the helicopter crash in New York City that killed five people, it’s been revealed that singers Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato were once on the same exact chopper!

In 2016, the childhood friends took a ride together, and Demi posted fun videos of herself in the helicopter.

Nick also shared video on his Snapchat, revealing the red Eurocopter AS350's registration number - N350LH -, which is the same registration number as the helicopter that crashed last Sunday.

Fortunately, their ride went a lot more smoothly than it did for the five passengers who rode in the chopper Sunday night.

The five passengers aboard the Liberty Helicopters chopper were working on a private photo shoot, according to authorities, but after experiencing engine failure, it crashed into the river near Roosevelt Island, and was immediately submerged.

The pilot was able to escape, and was treated and released from New York Presbyterian Hospital.
