The Jonas brothers are sending their love to Demi Lovato. After the singer overdosed on Tuesday, brothers Nick and Joe, whom Demi briefly dated in 2010, tweeted words of support to their longtime friend.
“Like all of you I am reeling at the news about Demi,” Nick wrote. “All of us love her and need to pray for get to get well. She is a fighter. #prayfordemi.”
His brother Joe shared a similar message, writing, “Like all of you I am thinking of @DDLovato right now. She needs our prayers and support. We all know how strong you are Demi. #prayfordemi.”
Demi has been close with the Jonas brothers since they starred alongside each other in the Disney Channel original movie franchise Camp Rock from 2008-2010. Demi’s manager John Taylor credited the Jonas Brothers with being the first ones to realize she needed help when they witnessed her lash out at a backup dancer during their Camp Rock 2 tour in 2010, People reported.

“I remember thinking in my head I felt a bit of pride about it, like selfishly maybe I was helping her back to being the Demi we know and love. She’s not going to do anything crazy, she’ll be fine and then this episode happened,” Nick said of the incident in Demi's documentary Simply Complicated.
As OK! readers know, Demi was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday, July 24, after an apparent drug overdose. The singer’s rep said she was “awake and with her family” as of Tuesday night.
