Nick Viall & Ben Higgins Have Some Advice For New ‘Bachelor’ Colton Underwood

Former Bachelor stars Nick Viall and Ben Higgins shared some first-hand advice for Season 23 Bachelor, Colton Underwood. The two reflected on their own experiences on the show as they talked to E! News at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival. Colton, are you listening?

Nick and Ben were also joined by other members of The Bachelor family, including Dean Unglert, Becca Tilley, Blake Horstmann, Jason Tartick,  Ashley Iaconetti, and Jared Haibon.

"He needs to be decisive. Colton is an aware person. He wears his heart on his sleeve," said Nick.

Nick, 37, continued to say, "The difficult thing about being The Bachelor is making people feel bad when you break up with them. But you can sometimes make them feel worse by not being forthcoming with your feelings."

Both Nick and Ben said the same sentiments, "He's got to follow his heart."

Ben, 30, commended Colton, 26, for his current progress, "He’s starting to cry for the first time and really feel things for the first time. So I would just encourage him to keep doing that. Don’t be nervous that you’re growing during this experience."

Ben ended the interview by advising Colton to, "Keep feeling it, keep exploring, keep growing."
