Ever since Cardi B made her mark on the charts and earned a massive following thanks to her Bardi Gang, fans have been trying to pit her and Nicki Minaj against one another. While both tried to diffuse the situation, releasing a song together last year alongside Migos, the fans may have been right after all. In Nicki's latest song, "Barbie Tingz", she definitely seems to be dissing the 25-year-old.
Nicki, who's been off of social media since December, before making her return last week, raps, “Rap b**** tell they team/ Make ‘em like barbie/Had to come off IG so they can’t stalk me/All they do is steal looks, steal music too/Let’s see what b****** do when they lose the blueprint.”
And in an interview with Beats 1, Nicki admits she was hurt by Cardi B, after she did an interview following the release of "Motorsport" and whether intentionally or unintentionally, made it sound like Nicki changed her verse to the song after hearing Cardi's to make sure hers was better.
“The only thing with Cardi that really really really hurt my feelings…was the first interview she did after "Motorsport" came out. I remember when I first came in the game. If a female of that stature did a song with me I would only be singing their praises and saying thank you.”

“She looked so aggravated and angry. The only thing she kept saying was , 'Oh I didn’t hear that verse, I didn’t hear that verse. She changed her verse.'”
So it sounds like Nicki and Cardi B may not be doing a track together again anytime soon.
