Are Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman in trouble? The actress revealed that her husband recently had her in tears — but it’s not what you think! While on the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards last night, the Big Little Lies actress confessed that her country singer hubby made her cry when he surprised her with his latest song, “The Fighter.” In an unexpected twist, Keith revealed the song was about her, and Nicole couldn’t handle it!
“I remember when he first played it for me, and I started to cry,” Nicole said. “He writes these things — and they come out of I don’t know where — and they’re like beautiful gifts.”
The song, which Keith recorded with Carrie Underwood, talks about a girl who’s “beautiful, so beautiful,” and Keith promises to “be the one/To heal all the pain that he put you through.” Perhaps Keith is referencing Nicole’s famous ex, Tom Cruise?

Keith performed the song at the ACM Awards Sunday night, where, despite being the most nominated artist of the night, the singer walked away empty-handed. But according to Keith, he was already a winner thanks to his family.
Before the show, Keith posted a cute pic of his daughters Faith Margaret and Sunday Rose holding a homemade sign that said, “Good Luck Daddy!” Keith captioned the pic “When my daughters do this……I’ve ALREADY WON!!!! – KU #ACMawards.”
