Nicole Kidman and her country star husband Keith Urban have been married for 12 years. Their secret? "We've never texted," the actress admitted. Read on for more details.
Nicole credits her and Keith's no-texting rule as the reason they've been together so long. "We've never texted," she recently told Parade magazine.
The couple married in 2006, one year after meeting at the G'Day LA gala, which celebrates achievements of Australians in the United States.
Instead of texting, the two find other ways to keep in communication.

"We talk all the time and we FaceTime but we just don't text because I feel like texting can be misrepresentative at times," she said. "And I've had the thing where I re-read texts and I'm like, 'What does that mean?' and then read it to somebody and go, 'Can you interpret that?'... I don't want that between my lover and I."
"We just do voice to voice, or skin to skin, as we always say," the Oscar winner added.
