Oh No! Nicole Kidman Suffers Makeup Fail At Monte Carlo's Global Ocean Gala
Cue the gasps! Nicole Kidman endured an unfortunate makeup fail on the red carpet for the Global Ocean Gala in Monte Carlo, Monaco on Thursday, September 26.
Nicole, 52, stepped out with her husband Keith Urban and several other A-listers. Also present at the elite event was director Robert Redford, Gwen Stefani, Robin Thicke, Patricia Arquette, Uma Thurman and Monaco's own Prince Albert II.
For the swanky bash, the Aquaman star sported black sheer Alexandre Vauthier Couture midi dress, a beaded clutch, Aquazzura pumps and a diamond brooch. She styled her long blonde tresses into elegant waves and added more glam with her dangly silver earrings.
However, Nicole's choice of makeup caused a stir when she heavily powdered her face and wore dark red lipstick. Her cosmetic mishap showed off white powder marks around her eyes and on her nose. As she posed for photographers on the red carpet, their cameras caught the transparent setting powder on the Oscar winner's face. But the Big Little Lies actress didn't seem to notice the makeup blooper as she smiled and waved to the cameras.

While Keith, 51, didn’t pose for photos with his wife of 13 years, but they were snapped together as they walked into the party. Nicole was crowned as one of “Masters of Ceremony” for the event.
The Global Ocean Gala was held to support ocean conservation. The A-list charity event honored iconic Robert, 83, and had performances by the "Hollaback Girl" songstress, Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, and Kool & The Gang. The 2018 gala raised over $25 million that went towards ocean preservation.
Prince Albert, 61, hosted the ball and spoke about his passion for conserving the environment. “Above all, the ocean is a vital component for our global balance," the son of Princess Grace said in a statement. "Sadly, however, the ocean is also symbol of our irresponsibility. It suffers all the damage we inflict on our planet. That’s why this year’s Gala for the Global Ocean in Monte Carlo is so important. Let us hope that together we will be able to lay the foundations for a humanity built on respect for the sea and the planet.”
