She might have been abroad, but Nicole Richie still managed to spend Independence Day creating precious memories with her family. Keep reading to see take a look at the some of the trio’s adventures.
On Wednesday night, Nicole, her husband Joel Madden, and her son Sparrow were all spotted enjoying dinner at a restaurant Pierluigi’s.
Even during a lowkey outing with her family, the fashion designer showcased her unique style. She wore a short-sleeve patterned dress and a pair of black and white Puma sneakers. She also chose to keep her hair down and wavy and adorn it with a pattern headband.
The next day, the trio was spotted once again. This time they grabbed some gelato at a small local shop.

This time around, Nicole was the picture of summer vacation and relaxation. She wore a lightweight, floral-print dress that featured spaghetti and a slightly cinched waist.
The 36-year-old former reality star also added a cross-body bag, and a beige sunhat. On her feet and perfect for strolling around Rome, were the same Pumas from the previous night.
Nicole, whose lifestyle brand House of Harlow 1960 is still going strong and keeps expanding, talked to Forbes last month about finding the perfect work to life balance. She told them “I'm always changing my method. I mean you could get it right and it will last for about three months. Things change and so you have to always try and just figure it out."
