Nicole Richie's favorite role might just be playing mom! The Great News actress was spotted strolling through Beverly Hills on Thursday, accompanied by her kids, Harlow, 10 and Sparrow, 8. The actress was beaming with her children by her side. Click through to see the adorable pics!
Nicole kept her look relaxed but trendy in a brown coat, loose-fitting sweater, and black and white striped pants. She channeled her inner kid with braided pigtails.
Her daughter Harlow wore her favorite red and white striped smiley face dress, which she wore two weeks ago while heading to the doctor with her mom.
Nicole recently admitted that her daughter “loves” makeup, even though Nicole herself never wears it! “She’s a different beast than me,” Nicole told People. “She is like a glitter, a liner, a liquid liner, a blush, a lipstick, a YouTube tutorial video. She is in it.”

The two girls recently attended the Women’s March together. “Her and four friends came with us. I really loved it. I was so happy that she was there,” Nicole explained.
While Nicole and her husband Joel Madden, the lead singer of the band Good Charlotte, are both celebs, they’ve tried to raise their kids out of the spotlight. “It's extremely important to us for our kids to be kids, to have a full-blown childhood,” she told her friend Rashida Jones in an interview for Refinery 29. “What we both do is just try and pour our interest into what the kids are interested in.”
