Kent Boyd
OK!: What do you think people are going to like the most about this movie?
Kent Boyd: "The musical numbers. They’re amazing. I think the dancing is great and the battle between the surfers and bikers is really fun. I’m telling you, the dance numbers and musical numbers are very epic."
Garrett Clayton and Maia Mitchell
Garrett Clayton: I think they’re going to love the adventure. I think it has a good message. A lot of movies come with negativity and this is a feel good movie. You really discover a genre that hasn’t been touched on for a long time but has a really present view of the future."
Garrett Clayton
OK!: When the movie comes out, what's the first thing you're going to do?
GC: "I’m going to be with my friends. Right now there’s a group of us from the movie that are going to meet and then there’s another group of friends that's going to throw a party for me so I’m trying to go to both. I just want to see everyone and celebrate with everyone!"
Debby Ryan and Maia Mitchell
OK!: Which Disney star were you most excited to meet after you found out you got the part?
Maia Mitchell: "I was really excited to meet Debby Ryan because I heard so much about her. Everyone was like, you would love her you need to meet her! When I booked Teen Beach Movie we ended up connecting and becoming really good friends. I did an episode of Jessie too, and it was really cool."
Shake It Up
KB: "Well, I did Shake It Up and I got to meet Bella and Zendaya and they’re awesome. I love them. Zendaya is so sweet to me and she supports me with everything. She did amazing on DWTS and she's very talented."
Maia Mitchell and Sarah Hyland
OK!: Aside from your cast members, which celebrity would you bring on a beach vacation?
MM:"I'd take Debby. Or Sarah Hyland. It’s really hard to meet really cool Hollywood people who are grounded and actually want to make friends with you. She’s very sweet."
Garrett Clayton
GC: "I feel like I really like funny people. I would want to hang out with Will Ferrell because he’s so hilarious. If I picked a girl it’d be Emma Stone. I have a mad crush on her and I think she’s going to think I’m creepy because when people ask who my celebrity crush is I say Emma Stone every time."
Kent Boyd
OK!: Was it harder to learn the choreography for the movie or SYTYCD?
KB:"The conditions for TBM were harder because we were outside in the sand and you never notice how nice you can grip on land so our toes started to cramp. It hurt so bad! The dancing on SYTYCD was harder but TBM's conditions were pretty challenging."

Maia Mitchell
OK!: What TV shows do you watch in your spare time?
MM:: "I just started watching Mad Men. My favorite show of all time is probably Six Feet Under. I love Dexter and I'm halfway through The Walking Dead. It’s so good!"
Kent Boyd
KB:: "My guilty pleasure of TV is The Challenge and Real World. I also love Dance Moms. I love Chloe and Paige!"
Garrett Clayton
OK!: Have you ever had an awkward celebrity encounter?
GC: "I used to work at a restaurant for a while and Ashton Kutcher came in. I thought he was so funny and I tried to tell him but everything I said came out like gibberish."
The Fosters
OK: Maia, did Jake T. Austin and Jennifer Lopez give you any advice while you were on The Fosters?
MM: "Jake's been really great about that because for someone who has grown up with Disney he’s so down-to-earth and grounded. He gave me advice about keeping your friends close and family close and trying to stay connected to the real world. Jennifer said exactly the same; keep the people who knew you before the success really close."
Teen Beach Movie
OK!: Were there any embarrassing moments on set?
GC: "Some of the cast tricked me and put my clothes into the microwave one night. I thought someone stole them and I was freaking out. I think Kent told me he saw them put them in the toilet. Then they told me they were in the microwave. But we’re close so it was all good."
Maia Mitchell
MM: "Ross Lynch and I got kind of competitive with the surfing. We tried to see who would become a better surfer in the ridiculously short amount of time we had to learn, but we fell all the time. It’s all very awkward when you’re shooting a 60's movie. You’re on the beach in high pumps and ridiculous hairstyles. There’s bound to be awkward moments."
Teen Beach Movie
OK: People compare you to Zac Efron all the time. Are you ok with that?
GC: "At first I didn’t get it because even though I kind of look like him, I’m a different person. But my mom told me everyone is compared to someone when they first start out and it’s your job to use that platform to mold your own path. Zac did such a great job on Disney and used the platform to continue doing what he loves. That’s my dream; to do projects I love."
Maia Mitchell
OK!: What movie do you think would be more fun if it took place on the beach?
MM: "I’ve always loved the Wizard of Oz. When I was little I was convinced I was Dorothy and my little brother had to be Toto and I don’t think he has forgiven me yet. I think it would be really cool if the little munchkins were all beach munchkins (laughs)."
