One of the original Fab Five of 2003's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Carson Kressley, had some harsh words for the Netflix reboot. Read on to see what he had to say!
“I’m thrilled that they’re nominated,” Carson said of the reboot's Emmy nods at an event celebrating the Emmys turning 70 on Monday night. "But it was a little more groundbreaking back when we won an Emmy in 2004." Ouch!
He was, however, quick to add that the TV landscape in general has really evolved the past 15 years. "It’s really having a renaissance right now and so inclusive and diverse," he said.
In 2005, the original Queer Eye for the Straight Guy won the Emmy for outstanding reality program. Carson accepted the award alongside his castmates Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia, and Jai Rodriguez.
