“They always say, 'time heals,'” Paris told Rolling Stone of her father's death in 2009. “But it really doesn’t. You just get used to it."

Eighteen-year-old Paris, who's now dating 26-year-old drummer Michael Snoddy, talked about growing up on Neverland Ranch as a kid and not really understanding how influential her dad was. “I just thought his name was Dad, Daddy,” she said. “We didn’t really know who he was. But he was our world. And we were his world.”

Paris remembered fondly being homeschooled. “When you’re at home, your dad, who you love more than anything, will occasionally come in, in the middle of class, and it’s like, ‘Cool, no more class for the day. We’re gonna go hang out with Dad,’” Paris said.

But even Neverland had rules. “We couldn’t just go on the rides whenever we wanted to,” Paris said. “We actually had a pretty normal life. Like, we had school every single day, and we had to be good."

Paris talked about how Michael raised her and her brothers to be open-minded and honest. When Paris "fell in love" with a woman on a magazine, Michael didn't mind at all. “He was making fun of me like, ‘Oh, you got yourself a girlfriend,’” Paris said.

The pop legend was always brutally honest with his kids, Paris said. “His number-one focus for us besides loving us was education. And he wasn’t like, ‘Oh, yeah, mighty Columbus came to this land! He was like, ‘No. He f---ing slaughtered the natives.’”
After her father's death, Paris fell into a deep depression. She revealed that in June 2013, when she was 15, she attempted suicide by slashing her wrists and downing 20 pills of Motrin. “It was self-hatred,” she admitted, “low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn’t do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore.”

Paris had to transfer to a private school when he father died, where she felt like an outcast and started hanging out with the wrong crowd. “I was doing a lot of things that 13-, 14-, 15-year-olds shouldn’t do,” she said. “I tried to grow up too fast, and I wasn’t really that kind of a person.”
Things got better after Paris spent time in a therapeutic school in Utah. “I’m a completely different person,” she said. “I was actually crazy. I was going through a lot of, like, teen angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help.”
The model also confessed she was sexually assaulted at the age of 14 by a complete stranger. “I don’t wanna give too many details,” she said. "But it was not a good experience, at all, and it was really hard for me, and, at the time, I didn’t tell anybody.”
Despite rumors that Michael was not the biological dad of his three children, Paris, whose mom is Debbie Rowe, adamantly denies this. “He is my father," she says confidently. “He will always be my father."

Paris said she didn't know about her biological mom for the first 10 years of her life. “When I was really, really young, my mom didn’t exist,” Paris said. After her dad died, she began researching Rowe and they connected when Paris was 13, and again after Paris received treatment in Utah.
Michael Jackson Not Guilty
When it comes to accusations against Michael that he molested young children, Paris maintains her dad's innocence. “Picture your parent crying to you about the world hating him for something he didn’t do,” she said. “And for me, he was the only thing that mattered."
“Nobody but my brothers and I experienced him reading A Light in the Attic to us at night before we went to bed,” Paris said. “Nobody experienced him being a father to them. And if they didn’t the entire perception of him would be completely changed forever.”

In another shocking revelation, Paris asserted her dad was murdered, blaming his doctor Dr. Conrad Murray. “At some point he was like, ‘They’re gonna kill me one day,’” Paris said. “It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bulls---t, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bulls---t.”
She wants to one day get justice for her father's death. "It’s a chess game,” she said. “And I am trying to play the chess game the right way. And that’s all I can say about that right now.”
Despite no longer having him with her, Paris remembers her dad every day. She has 50 tattoos and nine of them are dedicated to Michael. “He’s brought me nothing but joy,” she says. “So why not have constant reminders of joy?”
