Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy was born early on Wednesday, and we’re sure he already has some dance moves thanks to his professional dancer parents.

The two realized they were expecting just weeks into season 22 of Dancing with the Stars. Maksim told People at the time, “I can’t wait to provide this baby with the tools to become a beautiful, kind person. And they’ll have the best sneaker collection.”

Peta said about her pregnancy, “I’m looking forward to nurturing something and just having the baby be the center of our world.”
