The 24-year-old will be crafting a collection of humor-based essays titled No One Asked For This.

“The collection is a sensitive portrait of a girl who well-understands her extraordinary privilege,” Vulture wrote about the upcoming release. “Yet finds it doesn’t protect her from the foibles of her own genetic makeup, existential crises, and the confusion of growing up female at the epicenter of 21st century American pop-culture and the rise of social media.”

In a statement Cazzie said, “No one asked to be born into this world and those people certainly did not ask for this book, but here we are.”
