Peter Thomas’ Biggest Cheating Scandals Exposed — The Marriage Drama And Cheating Rumors That Fueled His ‘RHOA’ Separation From Cynthia Bailey

Following The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Season 8 finale, Cynthia Bailey revealed that her marriage to her husband, Peter Thomas, was quickly crumbling as they attempted to salvage their union. By May of 2016, the RHOA star confirmed that the two were separated and living apart following Thomas’ messy cheating video drama  ahead of the show’s Season 8 premiere in November 2015. But the video was just one of many cheating scandals Thomas faced throughout his troubled marriage to Bailey. And we’ve gathered the full timeline of marriage issues and infidelity rumors that have plagued Thomas and his wife!

Shortly after Thomas and Bailey tied the knot in 2011, the two began facing reports that Thomas was possibly stepping out of their marriage.

However, the accusations gained traction during RHOA’s Season 7 when Bailey’s castmate Porsha Williams made claims that Thomas was cheating on his wife with members of the staff at his two Atlanta, Georgia, bars.

Williams made the claims during Season 7 and during the Season 7 reunion show. However, in Bravo blog post from May 2015, Bailey blasted Williams’ claims as being untrue. Bailey said that Thomas “is the most accessible husband on the show” and that  Williams shouldn’t use Thomas’ work at his bars to support her claims. “Tons of women walk through the doors of Bar One and Sports One every day,” Bailey wrote. “It is his job to be cordial and take pictures with them if requested. If he is too nice, he is flirting with them. If he is too standoffish, he is an a—hole.” She went on to say that she wasn’t worried about the women he encounters at the bars since they are often real fans of Thomas. “Most of the women are genuine fans, but some do have agendas,” she said. “Regardless, they have the opportunity to meet him, shake his hand, hug him, and take a picture with him.”

Bailey added that she trusted her hubby and was convinced that a woman with any dirt on him would have definitely already stepped forward!  “If Peter was cheating on me, I would know about it,” she wrote. “Any woman that has been with my husband (knowing that he is a married man) is not going to keep it a secret. They are going to tell someone. Women with no self-value or integrity will always go out of their way to make sure the wife finds out. In their small minds, it’s a victory.”

But just one month later, a video leaked of Thomas brushing his hands across the chest and neck of a mystery woman as they enjoyed a night out at a club!

Thomas eventually apologized to Bailey and his stepdaughter, Noelle, for the questionable clip, denying that he was cheating on his wife in the video. And Bailey immediately came to her husband’s support, saying that she was disappointed in Thomas but had no plans to divorce him.

But the clip remained a hot topic among RHOA fans heading into RHOA’s Season 8 — which premiered in Nov. 2015. And the video — and the couple’s attempts to overcome the drama — remained a key part of the couple’s storyline throughout the season.

By the end of 2015, Thomas and Bailey were still facing cheating and divorce rumors, with Thomas’ appearance at the airport with his daughter leading many to question if he was being unfaithful to his wife.

In that case, Bailey clarified that he hubby was with a member of their family and not a mystery woman. And the couple again had to clarify that Thomas wasn’t cheating on her when he was spotted out with two staff members from his bars at a Jill Scott concert in North Carolina!

Heading into 2016, it appeared that the two were finally working through their issues, with the duo claiming during the RHOA Season 8 finale episode that they had finally made some progress in repairing their marriage. But by the time the RHOA Season 8 reunion show aired in March, Bailey admitted that she was taking a break from Thomas as they attempted to figure out the next steps in their relationship.

And their marriage was rocked one more time by a couple of cheating scandals during the spring of 2016, with Thomas being linked to Williams as well as being blasted for posting a photo of himself on Instagram sitting very close to a bartender at his Charlotte, North Carolina, bar.

A source speaking to RadarOnline.com denied that Williams had been involved with Thomas. “It’s not true,” the insider said. And another source said, “Peter is not her type. She likes them young and muscular. Famous if possible and someone who has money. Peter doesn’t have any of this.” The insider added that the two “never got along in the first place” and that Williams was still talking to the man she met during the girls’ Season 8 vacation in Miami, Florida.

But all of the marriage drama appeared to ultimately take a toll on Thomas and Bailey’s marriage, with Bailey officially revealing in May 2016 that she was indeed separated from Thomas.
