March 30 2019, Updated 3:21 p.m. ET
Law & Order SVU is entering into its historic 21st season later on this year. Someone who won't be around for it, however, is mainstay Philip Winchester. Read on for all the details.
Philip, 38, tweeted about his departure on Friday, March 29. He's played Assistant District Attorney Peter Stone since 2018.
"Sadly for me, Peter stone and his 'the facts don’t care about you’re feelings' attitude will not be returning," he wrote. "A huge tip of the hat to my amazing fans and not so big of fans. You ALL make me work harder. Thank you! See you on the next adventure."
An NBC rep declined to confirm Philip's exit, per TVLine.
