Charlize Theron proved she's more than just anyone's average friend. Aside from being an Academy Award winner (how many people can say they have friend whose done that?), she also went out of her way to comfort one of her girlfriends. Keep reading to see how the star lives up to her "friends" role.
Charlize walked with her arm around her girlfriend during their night together in Los Angeles. She even rested her friend's head on her shoulder.
Her pal seemed distraught and upset, as the South African native comforted and supported her.
The Atomic Blonde star has been a strong show of support for her fellow ladies. Earlier this week, she joined fellow A-listers Tiffany Haddish, Kate Beckinsale and Miranda Kerr at the Incredible Women Gala.

As OK! readers know, her next project is based on the fall of former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes. She'll play former Fox host, Megyn Kelley, who is now on the Today show.
Charlize is also set to co-produce the movie, which is being hailed "an ensemble pic."
