Leighton Meester has been a busy girl all week as she's been hopping around New York promoting her new ABC series, Single Parents. On Tuesday, September 25, she stopped by Good Morning America then raced to the BUILD Series Studio only hours later. Keep reading to hear more about her hectic day.
Leighton wore an asymmetrical black and white dress and black leather clogs to her GMA appearance. The dress had half of it covered in large polkadots and the other plastered in smaller dots.
The 32-year-old talked her new fall sitcom, Single Parents and revealed how her real-life parenting style influences her role as a single mom on the show.
She is mommy to three-year-old daughter Arlo, whom she shares with Adam Brody. She said, "I'm not a single parent but I do it occasionally. I'll do days, weeks, hours. All of it is super hard so I give a lot of respect to my character and all single moms."

Hours later, the Gossip Girl Queen Bee changed into a new outfit to attend the BUILD Series. She gave off vintage vibes in a royal blue ruffled frock adorned with pretty pink and green flowers. A matching cherry-red purse hung from her hand black sandals peeked out from below.
The comedy follows a group of single parents—both men and women, as they navigate the world of PTA meetings, kiddie playdates as well as their own personal lives. The half-hour sitcom also stars SNL alum Taran Killam and Brad Garrett.
Her show premieres Wednesday, September 26 on ABC at 9:30 p.m.
