It was announced that the show's sixth season would be its last after main lead Kevin Spacey was fired due to allegations of sexual abuse came to light. Robin was promoted to lead and was even granted the opportunity to direct the season finale.
She talked to ET about stepping into the lead and filling Kevin's shoes. "There wasn’t any hesitation. We wanted to close out this show the way it was always intended for the fans and equally important was we would have put over 600 people out of a job. So it was only fair to finish with the security they expected."
Season six is available for binge-watching on November 2 on Netflix.
