According to American Cancer Society estimates, in the U.S. in 2007 breast cancer incidence in women will decrease to 178,480 (from 212,920 in 2006), a drop of slightly more than 19%. Projected mortalities in women will also decrease, to 40,460 (from 40,970 in 2006.).
