Pink Shares The Sweetest Narrative As She Accepts Vanguard Award At The MTV VMAs From Ellen DeGeneres

Pink just nailed her MTV VMAs performance on Sunday night, and on top of that, she was presented with her Vanguard Award by none other than Ellen DeGeneres!

The beauty sang a medley of her classics from the early 2000s before going into her current hit singles while in a loose white jumpsuit. And let's just mention that she entered the arena in a convertible which then glided over the stage! She's just too major.

Ellen presented her with the coveted VMA Vanguard Award, which is well deserved, as she over the years has won six MTV Video Music Awards and been nominated for 18.

Past recipients include Beyonce, Rihanna, U2, and Britney Spears. In her acceptance speech, (after admitting she already had broken the award!) Pink told a story about how her young daughter told her about not feeling beautiful, which led her to tell her to not conform to traditional beauty standards in society.

"We don't change ... we help other people to change so that they can see more kinds of beauty," Pink said at one point.
