Porsha Williams’ seemingly fabulous world was rocked by yet another financial scandal this week when MediaTakeOut released a report that said she “owes money all over Atlanta.” But a source close to The Real Housewives of Atlanta star told RadarOnline.com that the latest debt talk regarding Williams is far from the truth!
Following her divorce from her ex-husband Kordell Stewart back in 2013, Williams was facing some serious money troubles. And the insider said that even though it took her some time to regain control of her finances, she’s now back on track.
“Porsha was basically broke when she walked away from her marriage. She didn’t want anything from the divorce,” the source said. “Some of those debts her husband was responsible for, but it all came back to her.”
“Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has financial issues. Porsha is human, and is not ashamed of her past,” the insider added.

The source then went on to claim that one of Williams’ RHOA casmtates may be leaking the stories to stir up a little drama ahead of the debut of the show’s eighth season this fall!
“Someone is digging up dirt and looking to start drama,” the insider explains. “Porsha is a great example of how you can get your life together and grow from any bad experience.”
Williams reportedly commented on the report from MediaTakeOut in a biting Instagram post.
