Amy Duggar and Dillon King announced the name they chose for their baby on July 20 and the meaning is more special than fans realize! The Counting On couple is welcoming a baby boy in October and they opened up about the unique name in a new interview.
“We had to go with Dax. Everybody in my family on the male side all start with D’s,” Dillon told OKMagazine.com on August 13 at WEtv's Love After Lockup screaning. “So, we had to have a D name”
Amy’s 19 cousins are also named with the theme of the letter J.
“We landed on Daxton and then Ryan is an Irish name and it means ‘little king.’ Since our last name’s King, it just fit really well,” Dillon added.

“He’s going to have style,” the pregnant star added of her son’s cool name. “He already has a Bentley Trike.”
Amy chimed in and said, “It just melts my heart! It’s the perfect name.”
Dillon also said they hoped the name would lead to their son getting into sports. “His football jersey is going to say Dax on the back,” he said.
