Christina Anstead Warns Followers That Scammers Have Been Using Her Name To Swindle People

Christina Anstead's Instagram page, which is usually filled with joyful photos of her family, took a turn for the serious on Tuesday, September 3. The expectant mother warned her 1.1 million followers that there are scammers out there using her name in order to swindle people out of their money.
Christina, 36, posted an email screenshot on her Instagram Story.
The message came from someone pretending to be the Flip or Flop star.
They offered to promote content on Christina's page and used other Instagram accounts, like HGTV, as an example of their work.

The fake email claimed that the promotional posts would provide the email's recipient with "massive exposure." The anonymous scammer promised that the recipient would be "seen by all my followers and lots of other new people."
"If you get this email - it's a scam," Christina wrote at the bottom of the Instagram Story before adding, "Don't reply."
Online scammers are an unnecessary stress for the mother-to-be who is days away from expecting her third child and first with husband Ant Anstead.
Christina (who shares son Brayden and daughter Taylor with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa) will be delivering her baby via C-section on Friday, September 6. The HGTV star explained why she's choosing to undergo this procedure in a lengthy Instagram post shared on Friday, August 30.
