Malika Haqq is glowing and growing. After announcing her pregnancy last month, Malika, 36, took to Instagram to post a new photo of her adorable baby bump.
In the photo, Malika rocked what appeared to be a silk pink robe. The reality star looked down at her baby bump as she cradled her growing bundle of joy.
For her caption, Malika promoted Peanut, which is an app that helps first-time moms. “As a first time mom, being able to turn to friends who have kids is so helpful, but there is so much comfort in leaning on other expecting moms,” she wrote.
Last month, Malika revealed her exciting pregnancy news. "I listen to my heart, and I’ve decided that the rest of my life will be the best of my life. I’m pregnant! I didn't know when, I just knew one day. God said it’s my turn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the little spirit that grows inside of me. I am yours, baby, and you are mine," she wrote.
Although Malika didn’t announce her child’s father at the time, Us Weekly confirmed that her ex-boyfriend O.T. Genasis is the daddy. The two called it quits after dating on and off for over two years
Despite their breakup, Malika will have endless support throughout her pregnancy. During a conversation with People, Malika shared that she counts on her sister Khadijah Haqq and BFF Khloé Kardashian for advice.
“I have really amazing models for the type of mother I want to be, but I also know that I need to mother my baby the way my baby requires to be mothered,” the reality star shared. “A lot of my disciplines and morals and values, that just comes from my mother, the way I was raised, and those are the things that I plan on implementing … but I definitely want to build the kind of mother that I am based around the child that I have.”
In March 2020, Malika is expected to give birth. “I have always wanted to be a mother and it’s still a little bit surprising but I’m overjoyed!” she told People. “I’m a very emotional person anyway, but this is another heightening of emotion … I feel really good about where I am in my life being pregnant now.”
