Prince Charles and his wife Camilla began their royal tour of Cornwall today! The couple got a friendly welcome in the town of Fowey, where they met with local business owners and residents.
During the royal visit, Charles, who is known as The Duke of Cornwall when visiting the southwestern section of England while Camilla is The Duchess of Cornwall, were all smiles as the Fowey Gig Club welcomed them to town.
They even got to help ignite the cannon that signaled the beginning of the Fowey Gig Race.
It was a bit loud!

The couple was greeted by local schoolchildren, who weren't as lucky as the Prince to get their own umbrellas!
Camilla enjoyed a tour of local businesses.
