The day after his death, she flew to Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota and thanked fans for “loving her brother.”
Prince's autopsy has since been complete and his remains were cremated.
There was a private memorial service for close friends and family held in Minnesota. Fans and fellow artists have also paid tribute to the music legend by performing his songs or wearing purple in his honor.
Since Prince's death there have been claims made he was not in good health because of an addiction to prescription drugs but the cause of death will be revealed when the autopsy findings are released.
Since the performer's death, an inmate in a Colorado prison has filed a paternity claim with court in Minnesota against the estate of Prince, to argue he is the rightful heir to the multi-million dollar estate.
