Mayte Garcia, Prince’s ex-wife, is spilling the beans on the legend and what he really did behind closed doors. While he left a legacy of amazing music after his untimely passing, that is not the only life he left behind.

Prince allegedly indulged in drug use, and she claims that back in 1996, there was an incident in which he was rushed to the hospital after suffering an overdose. He was “passed out” when found by security guards and “there was vomit on the floor.”

According to a doctor, he even had to have his stomach pumped, but Prince simply told Mayte he had taken aspirin and red wine which led to the health scare, and he reportedly refused to further discuss the matter.

And that’s not the only time Mayte questioned Prince’s antics. Mayte wrote in her tell-all that towards the end of their marriage in 2000, she found pills in their hotel room and he was “horribly sick to his stomach.” He told her to go back to the hotel room “and flush them down the toilet.” This “strange” behavior continued until she ended their union.
