Prince George turns four-years-old today! And his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton have released a special official portrait to commemorate the major milestone. Since 2013, Prince George has given us all endless memorable moments, from making funny faces during royal tours to chasing after bubbles with abandon. Although his sister Princess Charlotte may have come on the scene a few years ago, that hasn’t stopped Prince George from stealing the attention. Look at this cutie! The adorable photo shows off George’s toothy grin.
The royal family released the photo via Twitter, writing, “The Duke and Duchess are delighted to share a new official portrait of Prince George to mark HRH's 4th birthday.”
They also revealed that the photo was taken at the end of June.

Kate and Will tweeted their thanks, writing, “TRH are very pleased to share this lovely picture, and would like to thank everyone for all of the kind messages they have received.”
It isn’t unusual for Kate and Will to release a photo of their kids around their birthdays. They shared this photo of George on his first birthday in 2014.
