A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced on May 3, “Due to the logistical planning for the traveling press to cover visits and engagements by The Royal Family, we have taken the decision to postpone The Duke of Sussex's scheduled visit to Amsterdam on Wednesday 8th May 2019.”
The statement continued, “The Duke is currently scheduled to travel to The Hague on Thursday 9th May for the launch of the Invictus Games The Hague 2020 as planned.”
Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland arrived in England in mid-April and she is expected to be beside her while she gives birth.

The Royal family has been very secretive about the due date as spectators anxiously await the news. The Buckingham Palace released a statement in April that said in part, “Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”
Prince William even joked during his visit to New Zealand on April 26 that he had no idea when Meghan’s due date is. He told fans, “I haven’t got my phone on me. I have no idea. You guys will find out before I do at this rate!”
